A moist almond and carrot cake from the Aargau region, topped with white icing and tiny marzipan carrots.

Ingredients
- 300g carrots, grated
- 300g almonds, ground
- 5 eggs
- 250g sugar
- Kirsch
- Marzipan carrots
Instructions
- Whisk egg yolks and sugar
- Fold in almonds, carrots, and Kirsch
- Fold in stiff egg whites
- Bake and frost with lemon icing
- Decorate with marzipan carrots
