Adas Bil Hamod (Lemon Lentil Soup)
A tangy and restorative winter soup made with brown lentils, Swiss chard, and plenty of fresh lemon and garlic.

Ingredients
- 1 cup brown lentils, 1 bunch Swiss chard (chopped), 2 potatoes (diced), 4 cloves garlic (crushed), juice of 3 lemons, 1 tbsp dried mint, olive oil.
Instructions
- Boil the lentils and potatoes until tender. Add the chopped Swiss chard and simmer for 10 minutes. Sauté the garlic and dried mint in olive oil, then pour it into the soup. Stir in the lemon juice and cook for another 5 minutes. Serve hot with toasted bread.
