ANZAC Biscuits

Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats 1 cup flour 1 cup sugar 3/4 cup desiccated coconut 125g butter 2 tbsp golden syrup 1/2 tsp baking soda mixed with 2 tbsp boiling water
Instructions
- 1. Mix oats, flour, sugar, and coconut in a bowl. 2. Melt butter and golden syrup in a pan. Add the soda mixture. 3. Pour the liquid into the dry ingredients and mix well. 4. Roll into balls and place on a baking tray, flattening slightly. 5. Bake at 160°C (325°F) for 15 minutes until golden brown. 6. Let cool on the tray to crisp up.
