Atole de Guayaba
Guava-flavored warm corn masa drink — thick, fragrant, and slightly sweet. The pre-Hispanic drink that warms Mexican mornings.

Ingredients
- 100g masa harina dissolved in 200ml cold water
- 1L water
- 6 ripe guavas, peeled and chopped
- 150g piloncillo or brown sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
Instructions
- Boil guavas with water and cinnamon until soft. Blend.
- Strain into a pot. Return to heat.
- Add piloncillo. Stir until dissolved.
- Add dissolved masa mixture gradually, stirring constantly.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring, 10-15 minutes until thick.
- Serve hot in mugs.
