Bánh Cuốn (Steamed Rice Rolls)
Delicate, silk-thin steamed rice sheets filled with seasoned ground pork and wood ear mushrooms, topped with fried shallots.

Ingredients
- Rice flour and tapioca starch batter Filling: Ground pork, minced wood ear mushrooms, shallots Toppings: Crispy fried shallots, sliced Vietnamese ham (cha lua), blanched bean sprouts Sauce: Nuoc Cham
Instructions
- 1. Steam a thin layer of batter on a cloth stretched over boiling water until translucent. 2. Spread the pork and mushroom filling over the sheet. 3. Roll it up using a bamboo stick. 4. Top with fried shallots and serve with sliced ham and plenty of dipping sauce.
