Bibimbap (Mixed Rice Bowl)
A beautiful and balanced bowl of steamed rice topped with assorted sautéed vegetables, seasoned beef, and a fried egg, all mixed together with a spicy gochujang sauce.

Ingredients
- 4 cups cooked short-grain rice
- 200g ground beef or thinly sliced ribeye
- 1 bunch spinach, blanched and seasoned
- 1 cucumber, julienned and lightly salted
- 1 carrot, julienned and sautéed
- 100g shiitake mushrooms, sliced and sautéed
- 1 cup bean sprouts, blanched and seasoned
- 4 eggs, fried sunny-side up
- Sauce: 4 tbsp Gochujang, 1 tbsp Sugar, 1 tbsp Sesame oil, 1 tbsp Water, 1 tsp Toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Prepare each vegetable separately: blanch spinach and bean sprouts, julienne and sauté carrots, mushrooms, and cucumber.
- Marinate and sauté the beef with soy sauce, sugar, and sesame oil.
- In a large bowl, place a portion of rice at the bottom.
- Arrange the prepared vegetables and beef in separate piles on top of the rice.
- Place a fried egg in the center.
- Prepare the spicy sauce by mixing gochujang, sugar, sesame oil, water, and sesame seeds.
- Serve with the sauce on the side or in the middle. Mix everything together thoroughly before eating.
