Ingredients
- Beef shank, pork knuckles, oxtail Lemongrass (lots), chili oil, shrimp paste (mam tom) Thick rice vermicelli Banana blossoms, red cabbage, lime, herbs
Instructions
- 1. Simmer beef and pork bones with smashed lemongrass for 3 hours. 2. Infuse the broth with a generous amount of spicy chili oil and fermented shrimp paste. 3. The broth should be intensely aromatic and reddish-orange. 4. Serve with thick noodles, slices of tender beef, and pork hocks. 5. Garnish with shredded banana blossoms and fresh mint.
