Cangrejada
A traditional communal feast of mangrove crabs boiled with beer and plenty of spices.

Ingredients
- 12 red mangrove crabs (alive) 2 beers Large bunch of cilantro and cumin Salt, black pepper, and garlic Green plantains and onions
Instructions
- Boil a massive pot of water with beer, salt, and spices. Once boiling, carefully add the crabs. Cook for 20-30 minutes until bright red. Serve on a table covered with newspapers, accompanied by small hammers to crack the shells, white rice, and pickled onions.
