Chicha de Jora
An ancient fermented corn beer used in both rituals and as a cooking ingredient.

Ingredients
- Malted yellow corn (jora) Water Spices and panela Clay pot for fermentation
Instructions
- Boil the malted corn in water for several hours. Strain and place the liquid in a clay pot with panela. Let it ferment for 3-7 days depending on the desired strength. Used as a beverage or as a base for dishes like Seco de Chivo.
