Chimole (Black Dinner)

A cousin to Relleno Negro, this rich black soup features hard-boiled eggs and pork.

Ingredients

• chicken or pork, black recado, hard-boiled eggs, tomatoes, onions, oregano

Instructions

1. Sauté meat with black recado
2. Add water to make a deep black broth
3. Simmer with vegetables
4. Add whole peeled hard-boiled eggs toward the end
