Choripán (Chorizo Sandwich)

The quintessential Argentine street food — a grilled chorizo sausage served in a crusty bread roll with plenty of chimichurri.

Ingredients

• 4 Argentine chorizos (pork sausages)
• 4 crusty bread rolls (pan francés)
• Chimichurri sauce
• Optional: Salsa Criolla

Instructions

1. Butterfly the chorizos by slicing them length-wise without cutting all the way through.
2. Grill over medium heat until charred and cooked through.
3. Toast the bread rolls on the grill.
4. Place a chorizo in each roll and top generously with chimichurri.
