Classic Meatloaf

Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef (80/20)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- Glaze: 1/2 cup ketchup, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Soak breadcrumbs in milk for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine beef, onion, garlic, eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire, and seasonings.
- Add the soaked breadcrumbs and mix gently until just combined.
- Shape into a 9x5 inch loaf on a parchment-lined baking sheet or in a loaf pan.
- Whisk glaze ingredients together and spread over the top.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour or until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
