Colada Morada
A thick, purple drink made from black corn flour and fruits, served on Day of the Dead.

Ingredients
- Black corn flour Blackberries, blueberries, and strawberries Pineapple rinds and cinnamon, cloves, ishpingo (Amazonian cinnamon) Sugar or panela Chunks of babaco, pineapple, and strawberries
Instructions
- Boil water with spices and pineapple rinds. Strain and mix with the black corn flour. Add blended berries. Simmer until thickened. Add sugar and the chunks of fresh fruit at the end. Serve hot or cold with a "Guagua de Pan".
