Instructions

  1. Mix masa harina and salt in a bowl. Gradually add warm water until a soft, non-sticky dough forms.
  2. Divide dough into golf ball-sized portions.
  3. Flatten each ball using a tortilla press lined with plastic sheets.
  4. Cook on a preheated dry griddle (comal) over medium-high heat for about 30-60 seconds per side until slightly puffed and lightly browned.
  5. Keep warm in a cloth-lined basket.
