Currywurst

Berlin's favorite street food — sliced grilled bratwurst topped with a warm, spiced tomato sauce and plenty of curry powder.

Ingredients

• 2 bratwursts
• 1 cup tomato ketchup or tomato sauce
• 1 tbsp curry powder
• 1 tsp paprika
• 1/2 tsp onion powder
• Pommes Fritz (French fries) for serving

Instructions

1. Grill or pan-fry the bratwursts until golden.
2. Warm the tomato sauce in a small pan, stirring in half of the curry powder and paprika.
3. Slice the sausages into bite-sized pieces.
4. Pour the sauce over the sausages and dust with the remaining curry powder.
5. Serve with a side of crispy Pommes Fritz.
