Dutch Appeltaart

A tall, deep-dish apple pie with a cake-like crust and a lattice top, filled with cinnamon-spiced apples and raisins.

Ingredients

• Shortcrust pastry
• Tart apples (Elstar or Goudreinet)
• Raisins
• Cinnamon
• Sugar
• Breadcrumbs
• Whipped cream

Instructions

1. Line a springform pan with dough
2. Fill with apple and raisin mixture
3. Create a lattice top
4. Bake until the crust is golden and apples are soft
5. Serve with a huge dollop of whipped cream
