Buna (Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony)
The traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony, where beans are roasted, ground, and brewed in a clay pot (jebena).

Ingredients
- Raw green coffee beans
- Water
- Frankincense (for aroma)
- Sugar or salt (traditional in some regions)
- Rue (tenadam) sprigs
Instructions
- Wash and roast the green coffee beans over coals until dark and oily.
- Grind the roasted beans with a mortar and pestle.
- Add the ground coffee to a jebena (clay pot) with boiling water.
- Let the coffee settle and pour into tiny cups (sini) without disturbing the grounds.
- Serve with popcorn or roasted grains.
