• all-purpose flour, baking powder, shortening or butter, salt, water, oil for frying

Instructions

1. Mix dry ingredients
2. Cut in shortening
3. Add water to form dough
4. Roll into thin circles or triangles
5. Fry in hot oil until puffed and golden
