Gilgeori Toast (Korean Street Toast)

A popular breakfast street food — a buttery toasted sandwich filled with a veggie-packed egg patty, ham, cheese, and a signature sprinkle of sugar.

Ingredients

• 4 slices of bread
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup cabbage, shredded
• 1/4 carrot, julienned
• 2 slices ham, 2 slices cheese
• Butter, sugar, ketchup

Instructions

1. Mix eggs with cabbage and carrot. Fry as two square patties in butter.
2. Toast bread slices in butter.
3. Place egg patty on toast, top with ham and cheese.
4. Sprinkle with sugar and drizzle ketchup.
5. Top with second slice of toast and press down.
