Instructions

  1. Combine all sauce ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil.
  2. Add onions and simmer until softened.
  3. Add beef slices and cook until just done (do not overcook).
  4. Ladle the beef, onions, and plenty of sauce over hot rice.
  5. Garnish with beni shoga and an optional onsen egg.
