Crispy, deep-fried rings of dough soaked in a thick sugar syrup, a favorite sweet snack found on every street corner.

Ingredients

• Semolina dough
• Sugar syrup
• Lemon juice
• Oil for frying

Instructions

1. Pipe dough into rings in hot oil
2. Fry until dark golden and very crisp
3. Immediately dunk into cold syrup
4. Serve warm or cold
