A large, celebratory beef pie with a flaky puff pastry lid, the mandatory meal for New Year in Scotland.

Ingredients

• 1.5kg Beef chuck, Link sausages
• Onions, Beef stock
• Puff pastry

Instructions

1. Slow-cook beef and sausages in gravy.
2. Transfer to a large dish.
3. Cover with pastry and bake until golden.
4. Traditionally eaten on New Year's Day.
