Huaraches de Asada
Oblong masa bases (shaped like a sandal) stuffed with beans, grilled, and topped with steak, cactus, and salsa.

Ingredients
- 500g fresh corn masa
- 1/2 cup refried beans
- 200g carne asada (grilled steak), chopped
- Nopal (cactus) strips, grilled
- Salsa roja and salsa verde
- Crumbled cheese
Instructions
- Form the masa into a large oblong shape. Make a channel and fill with beans, then seal.
- Press into a large oval (sandal shape).
- Cook on a griddle until firm, then lightly fry in oil.
- Top with grilled steak, nopal strips, cheese, and both salsas (divorciados style).
- Serve as a very large, filling street meal.
