Fresh summer corn tamales, made by grinding corn with basil and butter, then wrapping the paste in corn husks and boiling.

Ingredients
- 12 ears of fresh corn, 1 cup basil, 100g butter (melted), 1 onion (sautéed), salt, sugar (optional), corn husks
Instructions
- 1. Grate the corn kernels and blend with basil. 2. Mix with sautéed onions and melted butter. 3. Place two corn husks together, fill with the corn paste, and fold into a rectangular package. 4. Tie with string or a husk strip. 5. Boil in salted water for 45 minutes.
