Fresh summer corn tamales, made by grinding corn with basil and butter, then wrapping the paste in corn husks and boiling.

  1. 1. Grate the corn kernels and blend with basil. 2. Mix with sautéed onions and melted butter. 3. Place two corn husks together, fill with the corn paste, and fold into a rectangular package. 4. Tie with string or a husk strip. 5. Boil in salted water for 45 minutes.
