Ka'i Ladrillo (Peanut Brittle)

A traditional sweet brick made from black molasses (miel de caña) and toasted peanuts.

Instructions

  1. 1. Boil molasses in a heavy pot until it reaches the "hard ball" stage. 2. Stir in the peanuts. 3. Pour into a greased rectangular mold. 4. Let cool and harden, then cut into brick shapes.
