Khachapuri (Imeretian)
The most common type of cheese bread—a circular flatbread filled with melting Georgian cheese.

Ingredients
- Dough: flour, matzoon (yogurt), butter, salt. Filling: 500g Imeretian cheese (or Mozzarella/Feta mix).
Instructions
- 1. Roll out dough circle. 2. Place a large ball of cheese in the center. 3. Pull the edges of the dough over the cheese and pinch shut. 4. Roll out flat again. 5. Fry in a dry heavy pan or bake until golden on both sides.
