Kibinai (Karaite Pasties)

Ingredients
- For the dough: 1kg flour, 450g butter, 4 eggs, 200g sour cream, salt. For the filling: 800g lamb or pork (hand-chopped), 3 onions, salt, black pepper.
Instructions
- 1. Rub butter into flour, add eggs, sour cream, and salt. Knead into a smooth dough. Refrigerate for 1 hour. 2. Hand-chop the meat into tiny cubes. Mix with chopped onions, salt, and pepper. 3. Roll out the dough and cut into large circles. 4. Place a generous amount of meat in the center. 5. Fold the dough and create a beautiful braided seal along the top. 6. Brush with egg wash and bake at 200°C (400°F) for 25-30 minutes until golden.
