Liptovská Nátierka (Liptauer Spread)

A classic spicy cheese spread made with bryndza, butter, and paprika.

Ingredients

• 125g bryndza (sheep cheese)
• 60g butter, softened
• 1 small onion, very finely chopped
• 1 tsp sweet paprika
• 1 tsp mustard, caraway seeds
• Salt and pepper

Instructions

1. Cream the butter until fluffy.
2. Add bryndza and mix until smooth.
3. Stir in the onion, paprika, mustard, and caraway.
4. Season to taste (be careful with salt as bryndza is salty).
5. Let chill for 30 minutes for flavors to meld.
6. Serve on fresh dark bread with radishes or spring onions.
