Lok Lak (Stir-fried Beef)
Tender beef cubes sautéed in a savory brown sauce, served on a bed of fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and onions with a signature lime and pepper dipping sauce.

Ingredients
- 400g beef sirloin, cubed
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 red onion, sliced
- Lettuce leaves and sliced tomatoes for the base
- Dipping Sauce: 1 tbsp lime juice, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp Kampot black pepper.
Instructions
- 1. Marinate beef in oyster sauce, soy sauce, and sugar for 15 minutes. 2. Heat a wok with oil and sear the beef over high heat until browned but still juicy. 3. Add sliced onions and toss for 1 minute. 4. Arrange lettuce and tomatoes on a plate. 5. Top with the hot beef. 6. Mix the lime, salt, and pepper for the dip. 7. Serve with white rice and a fried egg (optional).
