Lorne Sausage (Square Sausage)

A uniquely Scottish square-shaped sausage made of minced beef, rusk, and a secret blend of spices.

Ingredients

• 1 kg minced beef
• 200g rusk or breadcrumbs
• 1 tsp mace, 1 tsp coriander, pepper
• 1/2 cup water

Instructions

1. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
2. Press into a rectangular loaf tin and chill until firm.
3. Turn out and slice into 1cm thick squares.
4. Fry or grill until browned and cooked through.
