Mazamorra (Corn Dessert)

An ancient dessert made from "locro" corn (white corn), cooked until tender and served with honey, milk, or molasses.

  1. 1. Soak corn overnight. 2. Boil in plenty of water for 2 hours until the kernels are very soft. 3. Drain most of the water. 4. Serve in bowls with a splash of milk and a generous drizzle of honey or black molasses.
