Ingredients
- Blue rice (rice cooked with butterfly pea flower water) Garnishes: Finely shredded raw herbs (laksa leaf, lemongrass, ginger flower), salted egg, fried fish/chicken, solok lada (stuffed chili), keropok (crackers) Sauce: Sambal tumis and budu (fermented fish sauce)
Instructions
- 1. Cook rice with butterfly pea flower water and lemongrass. 2. Finely shred all the fresh herbs and vegetables. 3. Prepare the sambal tumis and season the budu with lime and chili. 4. To serve, place blue rice in the center and surround with all the garnishes. 5. Mix everything together before eating for the full flavor profile.
