Fragrant rice cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaves, served with sambal, fried anchovies, peanuts, and a fried egg.

Ingredients
- 3 cups rice 2 cups coconut milk 1 cup water 2 pandan leaves Ginger and salt Sides: Sambal, ikan bilis (fried anchovies), toasted peanuts, fried egg, cucumber slices, fried chicken wing or otak-otak
Instructions
- 1. Cook rice with coconut milk, water, pandan, and ginger in a rice cooker. 2. Prepare sambal by frying a paste of dried chillies, shallots, garlic, and belacan (shrimp paste). 3. Fry the ikan bilis until crunchy. 4. Assemble by placing a mound of fragrant rice on a banana leaf. 5. Surround with the various sides and a generous spoonful of sambal.
