Nattō Gohan
Japan's polarizing superfood — fermented soybeans with their distinctive sticky strings, served over hot rice with mustard and soy sauce.

Ingredients
- 1 pack nattō (fermented soybeans)
- 1 bowl hot steamed rice
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- Japanese mustard (karashi)
- 1 raw egg yolk (optional)
- Sliced green onion, nori strips
Instructions
- Stir nattō vigorously with chopsticks 50+ times to develop sticky strings.
- Add the included mustard and soy sauce packets. Mix well.
- Place nattō on hot rice. Top with egg yolk if desired.
- Garnish with green onion and nori strips.
