Southland Cheese Rolls
Also known as "Southern Sushi," these are crispy, toasted bread rolls filled with a savory cheese and onion mixture.

Ingredients
- 12 slices white bread (crusts removed) 1 can evaporated milk 1 packet onion soup mix 2 cups grated cheddar cheese Butter
Instructions
- 1. Heat evaporated milk and soup mix until steaming. Stir in cheese until melted and thick. Let cool. 2. Spread the cheese mixture onto bread slices. 3. Roll each slice up tightly. 4. Butter the outside of the rolls. 5. Grill (toast) until golden and crispy. Serve hot with extra butter.
