Ingredients
- 4 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 cup sugar 1 tsp salt 1 cup warm milk 1 egg 2 tsp active dry yeast Fine breadcrumbs for coating
Instructions
- 1. Dissolve yeast in warm milk with some sugar. Let it bubble. 2. Mix flour, remaining sugar, salt, and egg. Add the yeast mixture and knead into a smooth dough. 3. Let the dough rise for 1 hour until doubled in size. 4. Divide the dough into small balls and roll in breadcrumbs. 5. Place on a baking sheet and let rise for another 30 minutes. 6. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15 minutes until light brown. 7. Best enjoyed hot with a cup of coffee or dipped in hot chocolate.
