Papelón con Limón

Venezuela's national refreshment — raw cane sugar (papelón) dissolved in cold water with fresh lime, the working person's drink.

Ingredients

• 150g papelón (raw cane sugar cone), grated
• 1L water
• Juice of 3 limes
• Ice

Instructions

1. Dissolve grated papelón in warm water. Stir well.
2. Cool completely. Add lime juice.
3. Serve over ice.
