Philly Cheesesteak

The pride of Philadelphia: thinly sliced ribeye steak and melted cheese (Provolone or Whiz) on a crusty Italian long roll.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Sauté onions in a little oil until soft and browned; move to the side of the griddle.
  2. Sear the thinly sliced steak over high heat, chopping it with a spatula as it cooks.
  3. Mix the onions into the meat and shape into two mounds.
  4. Top with cheese and let it melt.
  5. Place split rolls over the mounds, then scoop the whole thing up into the bread.
