4 cups fresh ground corn 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 tsp salt Banana leaves Queso fresco

Instructions

Make a batter from the fresh ground corn, sugar, and salt. Place a portion of batter on a piece of banana leaf. Fold the leaf over and cook on a hot griddle. The leaf protects the corn while it browns and steams simultaneously. Serve warm with a slice of fresh cheese.
