Scottish Shortbread
Scotland's world-famous crumbly, buttery biscuit made from just three main ingredients.

Ingredients
- 250g high-quality butter, softened
- 125g superfine sugar
- 375g all-purpose flour
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Cream butter and sugar until smooth.
- Gradually work in the flour and salt until a stiff dough forms.
- Press into a round or rectangular tin.
- Prick the surface with a fork and score into "fingers" or "petals."
- Bake at 160°C for 30-35 minutes until pale golden.
- Sprinkle with sugar while still warm and let cool.
