Sirene po Shopski

A simple and delicious clay pot dish of baked white cheese with tomatoes and eggs.

Cuisine: Bulgaria

Ingredients

• 200g sirene or feta cheese
• 2 tomatoes, sliced
• 2 eggs
• 1 hot pepper
• Butter
• Paprika

Instructions

1. Place a slice of butter and sirene in a small clay pot.
2. Top with tomato slices and a hot pepper.
3. Bake for 10 minutes. Crack an egg on top and bake until the egg is set.
4. Sprinkle with paprika.
