Soutzoukakia (Cumin Meatballs)

Oblong meat patties flavored heavily with cumin and simmered in a rich tomato sauce.

Ingredients

• ground beef and pork, breadcrumbs, eggs, cumin, garlic, red wine, tomato sauce

Instructions

1. Mix meat with spices and wine
2. Form into ovals
3. Lightly fry until browned
4. Simmer in tomato sauce until cooked through
5. Serve with rice
