Ingredients
- Grape leaves Rice, finely chopped tomatoes, onions, parsley, mint Olive oil, lemon juice, pomegranate molasses Coffee grounds (Syrian secret ingredient) Spices: cinnamon, allspice
Instructions
- Mix the rice with chopped vegetables, herbs, oil, lemon, molasses, and spices. Place a spoonful of filling on each leaf and roll tightly. Arrange the rolls in a pot over a bed of potato slices. Weight them down with a plate. Simmer in water mixed with lemon juice and oil for about an hour. Serve cold.
